No. It helps organize the standard process and checks whether expected fields are complete. DMV decides whether documents are accepted.
Does filing the NRL transfer the title?
No. California DMV says an NRL reports the sale but does not transfer ownership. The buyer still has to complete the transfer requirements.
Will CloseMyCar CA submit the NRL for me?
No. It prepares the information and links you to the official DMV service. The workspace records completion only when you confirm that you submitted it.
